We want to let families of Nebo School District know of the resources available in our community for those with mental health issues. The following is more information on the event. This year’s Intermountain Mental Health Services Awareness Night will be held on Thursday, October 27, 2016, from 5:30 – 9 p.m. at the Brigham Young University Wilkinson Center. The evening will include an information fair featuring 40+ community mental health resources. Dr. Greg Hudnall of Hope4Utah will speak at 5:30 on suicide prevention. The keynote address will be given at 6:00 by Elder Gregory A. Schwitzer MD of the Quorum of the Seventy of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. People frequently turn to ecclesiastical leaders, physicians, school personnel, other professionals, and community leaders to help locate mental health and counseling services. The purpose of this event is to help community leaders know where to refer people who lack funding for mental health and counseling services. Please feel free to pass this information on to those who may benefit. Nebo School District will have a booth set-up to share our information.
