Wednesday January 29, 2014 Larsen Elementary recently held its annual Science Fair. Fifth and Sixth grade students, (and parents) spent hundreds of hours in the last couple of weeks working on and preparing their wonderful projects and experiments to be judged and displayed. Students researched how popcorn pops, baking in glass verses metal, plant growth, makeup colors, light, altitude, boat buoyancy, battery life, static electricity, soap bubbles and many more exciting and educational topics. The other grades K-4th also visited the fair and listened to the 5th and 6th graders explain as they told them about their experiments and how they worked and completed their projects. Thank you and congratulations to all of those 5th and 6th grade students who participated. WAY TO GO LEOPARDS!!
