For Nebo Parents--Uplift Parenting Conference
The Uplift Parenting Conference is the initiative of First Lady of Utah Jeanette Herbert. Five presenters will be giving Tips Talks. Presenters include: David Osmond, Brad Barton, Jessie Funk, Collin Kartchner, and Clay Olsen. Topics range from resiliency, addiction recovery, social media, and anxiety. Some classes at Larsen Elementary had a few furry visitors come play with them. Mrs. Chynoweth brought in her puppies to show the students. The kids thought it was totally "Paw"some.
Our picture day is going to be held Tuesday, September 10th. A picture packet will be coming home shortly with informaton on the different packages you can purchase. You can also go to mylifetouch.com and use the picture day ID code UM339059Q0 to pay online and and see the packages also. We hope to see everyone smiling that day!
Thank you to all Larsen families that attended our Back to School Night and met with their teachers. It was a fun to see all the kids excited to start another year.
As a reminder, school will start Monday morning at 8:30 AM and will get out at 2:00 PM.
Please make sure if you were on free and reduced lunch for the 2018/2019 school year that you apply again by August 31st for the 2019/2020 school year. There is a link on larsen.nebo.edu under the registration tab that takes you to the right spot.
Back to School Night will be held on Thursday, August 15th. Come and meet your teacher between 3-5. A parent meeting will be held in the lunchroom at the beginning. There you will receive some important information for our school and PTA. We hope to see everyone there!
