6th Grade Blasts Off To Clarke Planetarium

Submitted by natalee.hansen on

On Friday November 19, 2010, Larsen Elementary 6th grade students blasted off to another planet as we visited the Clarke Planetarium in Salt Lake City.  While at the planetarium we learned about the moon phases, the Earth’s orbit and the Sun.  Students had a great time watching the presentations “Sky Watch I and II,” and after during the question and answer period we even learned something new.  Thanks for the info “Rob!”

After exploring the Planetarium we walked down to the Gateway Mall where we enjoyed eating our sack lunches before orbiting back home where we landed safely back at Larsen Elementary.  Way to go Leopards!
