First Graders Celebrate 100 Days of School!!

On January 28th, first graders at Larsen Elementary celebrated their 100th day of school! Everyone knows that a celebration calls for. . .cake and balloons!
It was a fun-filled day full of cake, streamers, balloons, confetti and various activities. Every first grader brought 100 things from home to put on their desks to display for our 100th Day Parade. Each first grade class was able to parade through the other first grade rooms and observe all of the creative things other first graders brought to show. Some of these items consisted of 100 pennies, water balloons, legos, candies, etc.
Another fun activity consisted of drawing a self-portrait of what our first graders think they might look like at 100 years old! A lot of them looked pretty good for their age!
We love school (and cake too) and are 100 days smarter! :)
