Larsen kindergarten students were so excited to be able to start classes last Wednesday. Mrs. Eckhardt had them draw of picture of what they looked like on the first day of school. They got to go on a treasure hunt through the school and find paw prints that showed them important places in the school. The children got to meet many of the staff members and found their class treasure in the principal's office. We are so excited to have them begin their learning adventure as a Larsen Leopard!

Continuing this year, the PTA would like to invite you to come eat lunch with your child to celebrate his or her birthday. Birthday lunches will be held on most first Fridays of the month. (With some exceptions for summer birthdays). There will not be a “birthday table” set up this year but you are invited to come find a place in the school to eat lunch with your child. A flyer will be sent home with your child on their birthday month inviting you to come. You can bring your own lunch or pay in the cafeteria for school lunch. It is $4.00 for an adult. If you plan on having school lunch please let the cafeteria know ahead of time so they can plan accordingly. August Birthdays will be celebrated on Friday, September 4th and September Birthdays Friday, September 18. Please remember to wear a mask & check in at the office when you arrive. We hope you can join with us in celebrating your child!

We've had a great first few days and would just like to share a couple bits of information. Most of the information you will receive applies to At School Learners. If there is specific information for just the Remote Learners, I will clarify that as well.
Parents can watch for monthly emails in the Leopard Link that will contain information about the things going on in our school. It will include scheduling items, PTA Items, information about practice drills we will be having, Parent Conference sign ups and reminders, and any other information you will you'll need for the month. The Leopard Links can also be found on Larsen's webpage at larsen.nebo.edu, and you'll just click the hyperlink in the right column that says "Newsletters".
We look forward to a great year ahead. Stay healthy and please reach out with any questions or concerns.
