It is no suprise to anyone how amazing Mrs. Eckhardt is. She is a dedicated teacher, an awesome co-worker and the greatest mother to her 4 daughters. Mrs. Eckhardt received the Crystal Apple Award for Larsen Elementary today. This award is given for all of her hard work and many hours spent on helping students learn and succeed. Congratulations Mrs Eckhardt! You are one in a million.
Just a reminder that February 13th are Spring Pictures. Packets were sent home but we do have extras in the office. Students need to have their money with them or have paid online. Call the office if you have any other questions.
Larsen 4th graders have been studying about dinosaurs. They have learned about where they lived, what kind of habitat, what they ate and all sorts of other stuff. They even made these salt dough dino-ramas. Great job 4th graders. You are "Dino"mite!
Mrs. Gleaves 2nd grade class spread some kindness to our wonderful lunch lady Mrs. Weight. They brought her flower, her favorite drink and made a card for her. Mrs. Gleave is always doing nice things for the faculty and students here at Larsen and it brightens everyone's day. Thank you Mrs. Gleave for spreading kindness in our school and teaching kids how to be good friends.
Just a reminder of the Larsen Elementary Science Fair Feb. 9th for 5th and 6th graders. Parents are welcome to come and view the projects between 12:45- 2:30 PM. Hope to see you there!

Tuesday, Feb. 6th is another Larsen family skate night at Classic Skating in Orem. There will be free admission for families from 5:30-8:30 PM that evening. Skate rentals will be $2 for skates or $3 for roller blades. Hope to see you all there!
We are going to be having our 2nd Box Top Drive of the year beginning Monday, January 29th and ending Friday, February 2nd. The winning class will receive yummy donuts. Please start gathering your Box Tops off your General Mills products and send them with your students beginning on the 29th. Thanks for helping our school!
