Kindergarten held their Nursery Rhyme Day on Friday. Students got to dress up as a favorite character from a nursery rhyme, ate curds and whey and even made a Humpty Dumpty. It was a fun day to be a kindergartener!
Mrs. Wilson and Mrs. Howard’s class created a Donors Choose project for kick bands for the whole class! We were lucky enough to receive them this week. So far, we are loving them and how well they help us stay productive, focused, and successful! Thank you to all who donated!
Larsen 5th and 6th grade science fair is going to be held Friday, January 25th. Parents are welcome to come and walk through the displays between 12:45-2:30 PM that afternoon. We hope to see you there!
We wanted to remind parents that there is no school on Monday, January 21st for Martin Luther King Day observance. It will resume back on Tuesday the 22nd.
Our district art specialist, Christine Palmer, visited Mrs. Bates class and they made some little cakes with Play-Doh. She introduced an artist from Utah that paints food to the class and then let the students creat their own masterpieces. We all love how they turned out!
