It was our annual Larsen Faculty vs 6th Graders kickball game today. The teams were ready to fight for the trophy and bragging rights for the year. The game was very competitive and both teams had some great plays but the faculty came out victorious. Better luck next year sixth graders!
Macey's Presents Larsen with a $10,000 Check for the School Cents Program
Larsen Elementary would like to thank Macey's School Cents program and Larsen parents for all the support they have been to our school. Because of all the grocery shopping that our parents have been doing at Macey's and being a part of the Schools Cents program, we were able to receive the LARGEST check from them in amount of $10,000! Wow!! We will use this money for technology, supplies and other areas of need in our school. Thank you for making a difference to our students and their education. It is greatly appreciated.
Fun is Hatching in Mrs. Shepherd's Class
Mrs. Shepherd's 4th Grade class has been waiting patiently for 21 days for these little bundles of joy to hatch! Dr. Bland who is a veterinarian came and taught our class what happens on each day of the 21 day incubation. We would like to introduce Bruce, Sunshine, Fluffy Jr, Zoe, Bacon, and Speedy-Weedy Jr.! Thank you Dr. Bland and Shepherd's Egg Farm for bringing Agriculture into our Classroom!
6th Grade Visit Water Treatment Plant
On a brisk April morning, the Larsen Elementary 6th grade students and teachers embarked on a journey. Their quest was to experience science happening in their community. The chosen destination was the Spanish Fork City Waste water Treatment Plant. As the buses pulled into our destination, the students immediately reacted. "EEEWWW!!!
