March Madness Assembly

Submitted by teresa.beebe on

For our "March Madness" activity, Larsen school students participated in a month long initiative to promote College and Career Readiness culminating in a "jeopardy" style assembly where students answered questions and shot baskets for points.  The questions were about different colleges mascots, colors, teams, stats and rankings etc.   Thank you Ms. B for helping students see how important it is to start preparing for college and their futures.

Leprechaun's Find 1st Grade

Submitted by teresa.beebe on

Leprechaun's found their way into Larsen Elementary this week. The 1st graders made some Leprechaun traps to catch the sneaky guys but they still got away.  They also left a big mess in their classrooms but did leave a pot of gold hidden for the students to find.   Happy St. Patrick's Day everyone!
