The first grade had a great time imagining life in 120 years, counting out 120 objects and writing to 120! We are proud to be 120 days smarter!
Students that had won the science fair at Larsen participated on the district level on Thursday. There were three students from our school chosen to move onto BYU on March 25. The winners were Malorie Diede, Cadince Nielsen and Kaylee Knotts. Way to go girls and good luck at BYU!!!
Larsen 4th graders had fun celebrating Pioneer Day with dressing up in pioneer clothes, dancing, games, art and tasty food. The students made covered wagon art, learned pioneer weaving, played pioneer games, ate cornbread and honey butter. They ended the celebration with dancing the Virginia Reel and Texas Star for parents and visitors. We were also glad the Mrs. Johnson came back to help them learn the dancing! Way to go 4th graders!
Larsen Elementary students celebrated Valentine's Day by having some fabulous class parties and giving out special valentines to each other. We sure have some TERRIFIC room mothers and teachers that helped put these parties together and make it fun day for everyone. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!!
