Larsen Elementary students celebrated Halloween with a great parade around the school with parents, teachers and friends cheering us on! It was great to see all of the creativity and imagination that went into all of the costumes! Later in the day classes celebrated with class parties and lots of fun games and treats! We also had Bosley and Charlies Angels visit our school that day as well! Thank you for all of the helpers that came to the classes to help our students and teachers. Way To Go Leopards!
Larsen Kindergarten recently had some special storytellers come to our school. Maple Mountain Football players spent an afternoon telling stories and reading with our awesome Kindergarten classes. It was great to see these big athletes taking time out of their busy day to visit us. A big thank you to Maple Mountain Football players. Way To Go Leopards!!
Larsen 2nd grade students loved their visit to Utah's Kennecott Bingham Copper Canyon Mine in Bingham UT. The 2nd graders were completely amazed at how big the mine actually was. The huge mine is 2-3/4 miles across at the top and 3/4 of a mile deep. You could stack two Sears Towers on top of each other and still not reach the top of the mine.
On October 9th, the first grade was able to go to Cornbelly's Corn Maze at Thanksgiving point on our first field trip of the year! We had such a great time playing on the bounce pads, taking hay rides, watching pig races and picking pumpkins!
It was a fun-filled day full of smiles and good times. Thanks to all of our awesome parent helpers for helping us out on the field trip! Way To go Leopards!
