Kindergarten Students Invite Special Guests

Submitted by natalee.hansen on

The kindergarten students at Larsen Elementary invited special guests to school - their grandparents.
Grandparents from as far as Idaho and Lake Powell, as well as grandparents from just down the street came to school for a short program and to share a lunch with their favorite kindergarteners.

A very big thank you for all of our special visitors who came from near and far!

Larsen Kindergarten Heads South!

Submitted by natalee.hansen on

On September 24, 2010, Larsen Elementary Kindergarten traveled down to Rowley’s South Ridge Farms in Santaquin or more widely known as the “Big Red Barn.”  The kids were taken on a hayride out to the big orchards where each one of the students were able to pick and eat a yummy peach and apple.  After picking and eating their fruit they rode out to the great pumpkin patch and picked a pumpkin to take back to their classrooms.  It was a great beginning to the Fall season.  Thank you South Ridge Farms.

Students get "Smartz"

Submitted by natalee.hansen on

September 20th, 2010, Larsen students are now a little "smarter" than before.  Students had a fun assembly where they were instructed by Netsmartz on computer and internet safety. Children got to watch a fun video and they learned about using the internet and what are the do's and don'ts on giving out information over the internet.
