Our book fair is being held December 7th-10th. Books are always a great holiday gift for every age. The PTA is also needing parent volunteers to help run the book fair. Classic Skating Family Night is Monday, November 15th from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm. Skating is free for the whole family. If you choose to do bouncing, climbing, etc. there is a $5 fee. Any rental (skates, scooter) is $3 or you can bring your own from home without charge. Classic Skating is located at 250 South State Street in Orem. We would love to see everyone there!
Mrs. Warren received a grant from the Nebo Education Foundation to use towards buying more books for our library. Here is what she said about the grant:
"Thank you so much!! We will use the grant to expand the options in our library and help the kids fall in love with reading. As a new librarian at Larsen Elementary, I am as excited as the kids when we get new books. Providing reading material that gets the kids reading makes my job very rewarding. Thank you!”
Larsen Elementary faculty and staff would like to thank all veterans for their service and sacrifice for our freedoms. We had some special veterans come today to talk to our students about freedom and their service. It was an honor to have them at our school. Thank you for your bravery.
