Our own Mrs. Clark was named "Rookie Principal of the Year 2023" for Nebo School District. This award is given to principals that are in their first 3 years as an elementary principal. She was nominated by her peers for this award. Mrs. Clark will represent Nebo School District and submit applications to the Utah Association of Elementary School Principals (UAESP).
Here are the January events that are going on at Larsen. Happy New Year!
Before Christmas break, Larsen students walked over to Legacy House and sang some Christmas carols to them. It was a very cold walk but it sure brought some Christmas cheer to the residents there!
Thank you to Diamond Fork choir, band and orchestra for coming to perform for our students. It was a spectacular performance of fun Christmas music!

Just a reminder we are on Christmas Break from December 22nd - January 3rd.
Kindergarten Sock Day was a huge success. They called them their "service socks". Each time they wear them it will remind them to serve and be kind. They learned that they can save the world.
Kindergarten also celebrated the first day of winter )which is the longest day of the year) by wearing their pajamas and making ornaments to feed the birds. Happy Winter Solstice!
Many of our classes celebrated Elf Day this week and had a lot of fun! Here are some of their hats that they made. Some classes also made gifts for their families that day.
A favorite tradition in 3rd grade is making gingerbread houses each Christmas season. Students had such a great time being creative and putting as much candy on their houses as possible. Thank you to all our parents that came and helped with it also.
