Larsen students were so excited to have Cosmo Cougar and some athletes from BYU come and give an assembly on being COUGAR STRONG. The athletes talked to the kids about avoiding harmful substances, developing a lifelong love of learning, and treating others with kindness and respect among many other things. Our own Mr. Jensen even made a basket as he jumped from a trampoline. Thank you BYU Cougars and Cosmo for the fun assembly!
Larsen Elementary was honored to have local veterans come to our school and speak about America and what freedom means to them. They talked about how freedom is not free and how many people had sacrificed their lives so that we can free. They performed a flag ceremony also and showed such respect to our flag. Students wrote cards and colored pictures to give to the veterans to show their appreciation for their sacrifices. Larsen Elementary salutes our veterans and appreciates all they have done for us and the United States of America!

Larsen 2nd graders performed a spooktacular program for their parents on Halloween. They sang songs about haunted houses, pumpkins, ghosts and so many other scary things while dressed in their costumes. Great job 2nd graders on making our Halloween so much fun!
This month as we celebrate the thankfulness and gratitude we feel, I would like to offer thanks to the business partner who is providing our two Classic Skate Nights at no cost to us. Holey Bricks owners, Justin and Holly Frasché, covered the cost so that Larsen families can go and enjoy two nights of skating and fun together. Thanks for your thoughtfulness and kindness to our Larsen Community. We are sure to have a great time! The first skate night will be held November 18th so mark your calendars. More information will be coming.
