Field Day-We did it!! We not only reached our goal of reading one million minutes as a school, but we read over 1,250,000 minutes! We are so proud of the students and their dedication to reading at home this year. We applaud you as parents for encouraging the students to get their reading in every day. We know this has made a huge difference in their education and we could not be more excited about reaching our goal. Because of this great accomplishment, we have scheduled our field day for Wednesday, Ma

Because of this great accomplishment, we have scheduled our field day for Wednesday, May 18th, starting at 1:00 p.m.  Students will be allowed to wear swimsuits (one piece swimwear that covers the stomach-no two piece swimsuits), shorts and a shirt that can get wet, or any other clothing that students would feel comfortable getting wet in.  Students will most likely be most comfortable in a pair of shorts (over their swimwear if desired) because we will be doing many activities including water kickball, bounce house slides, etc. The students will be asked to wear shoes, so please send them in sandals, flip flops or shoes that can get wet.   We are also encouraging students to bring a towel and sunscreen.
