Penny Wars

Submitted by teresa.beebe on

This is just a reminder about this weeks "Penny Wars". The object is to get the most points per grade level.  You get a point for every penny put in the grade level jar.  If they bring a nickel, dime or quarter they get to put that in another grades jar and it subtracts from their points (-5,-10, -25).  If they bring bills then those count as points for their class also.

THe money will go towards supplies for the school. If you have any questions you can email the following PTA members:

4th Grade Pioneer Day

Submitted by teresa.beebe on

Larsen's Fourth Grade classes had an exciting day devoted to the Pioneers! We made butter and read stories about pioneer children, learned how to do pioneer weaving, and played different pioneer games! We even got to eat some delicious corn bread. We ended the day performing the Virginia Reel and the Texas Star for our parents... Little did they know they would get to dance with us, too!
