Parent Teacher Conferences February 28th
Our last parent teacher conferences for the year are going to be held on February 28th from 3-5 PM and then 5:30-7:30 PM. This conference will be a walking report card format. There are no specific times for each individual child. You can contact the office if you have any questions or email the teacher. We hope to see you there!

Kindergarten Registration is Moving to Summer
Kindergarten registration, traditionally held in March, will be moved to the summer and combined with grades 1st -12th. More detailed information regarding summer registration for K-6th will be sent out to you before the end of the school year.
Parents can prepare now for registering their kindergarten children by making sure they have a birth certificate and that their child is current on the following immunizations: DTap, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Polio, Varicella and MMR by the end of July.
Loveland Living Aquarium Visits 2nd Grade
Loveland Living Planet Aquarium in Draper, Utah, is home to more than 4,000 animals from around the world. They came and visited our 2nd grade classes last week. The aquarium staff showed them some exotic animals and explained about their habitat. The students loved it and were excited to learn more about these animals.
No School Held on Presidents Day
We wanted to remind parents that there will be no school held on Monday, February 18th, to celebrate Presidents Day. School will resume on Feb.19th. Have a safe and happy holiday.
Author Lance Conrad Visits 6th Grade
Larsen 6th graders had the priviledge of meeting author Lance Conrad. Mr. Conrad has been writing for 15 years. His writing career all started with him trying to impress a girl. Titles to some of his books include "The Weight of Swords" , "The Price of Creation" and "The Price of Nobility". Thank you Lance Conrad for stopping by our school and sharing your passion for books with our students.
National School Breakfast Week Begins March 4th
National School Breakfast Week will be March 4-8. The theme is “Start your Engines”. There will be prizes--including a GRAND PRIZE! Stay tuned for more details, and mark your calendars.
