Are there Fireflies in Spanish Fork? Yes there are! A whole sparkle (that’s what you call a group of fireflies-isn’t that fun?). I have helped out on the farm and have been lucky enough to go see the magic a few times. Every year I wish I could take my kindergarten class! This year we are trying something fun. Together we created a tshirt for the group’s tshirt contest. If we win, each of my kids and a parent can come to the farm for a special firefly viewing night in June. You have to be a member of the Facebook group to vote. If you would join the Facebook group (Thompson Century farm and fireflies) and then like our shirt design (and invite others to join and vote) we could win! The contest runs until May 10 this year.
