The second graders have been learning about rules and laws. They know the difference and why we have to have rules and laws. They know that rules have to be fair for everyone. Rules help us in our classrooms, on the playground and in our homes. Laws help us in our community. All second graders know that following rules and laws keep of safe everywhere we go.
Sergent Martinez from the Orem Police Department came to visit with us about the importance of obeying the law. He told us that laws are in place to help us be safe. He told us to remember to walk in the cross walks, wear our helmets when riding bikes, and wear our seat belt in the car. Thank you to Sergent Martinez for helping us learn and grow.
