Fourth grade celebrated last week with their annual Pioneer Day celebration! We made edible covered wagons, played pioneer games, watched Little House on the Prairie, and even made our own butter! (Spoiler: it was delicious!) We wrapped up the fun with our Utah History Program where students performed the Virginia Reel for family and friends. It was jolly-good, very merry, howdy-doody fun!

Go to "Existing Student Registration 22-23"
Click "Start"
New to Nebo families will be able to register beginning April 11th
We are kicking off the month of April with the Fiesta Days Rodeo Reading Challenge. Today Larsen students learned about all the different events during a rodeo and even got to participate in roping and barrel racing. Each student was also given a bandana to wear to the assembly. Your child will be bringing home a calendar for them to keep track of the minutes they read. They will be entered into a drawing for prizes at the end of the month. There is also a traveling trophy for the school that has the most minutes read.
Just a reminder that Spring Break is next week, April 4th-8th. We hope you have a wonderful, safe week with family and friends!
Monthly Munchies for teachers will be on Wednesday, April 13th and all delicious creations should be to the teacher's lounge by 11:00 AM. Please sign up if you are willing to help!

We have been celebrating our College and Career Week here at Larsen. Thursday students got to dress up as what they want to be when they grow up. We had teachers, astronauts, doctors, paleontologist, photographers, construction workers, policeman, nurses, zoo keeper and many others. We are excited for their futures!
The Larsen Underwater Robotics teams got to compete at the UUR competition today at the Lehi Aquatics Center. They have been working on their robots since October and did very well at the competition.

We are excited to kick off our College and Career Week beginning Monday, March 21st. Mrs. Shumway has planned some fun really fun days that are listed below:
Monday, Coloring Contest: Every student will bring home a coloring contest paper that will need to be turned in by Thursday, March 24th.
Tuesday, "My College Day": Wear the colors and/or gear of your favorite college.
