Our last day of school is tomorrow, May 25th.  We will be getting out at 12:00 noon.  We hope that you have a fun and safe summer!  We will see you back in August.

Child must be present to receive a backpack.

We met our goal of reading 1,200,000 minutes school-wide so that meant that we had a water field day.   What a huge victory that is for the students at our school.  We are so proud of your kids for doing their home reading every night.  Keep it up over the summer!

Our lost and found is overflowing with items.  We will set everything out in the hallway on tables to have the students look through by this Friday.  If you are missing coats, jackets or any item, please encourage your students to gather those items.  We will be donating those items at the end of the year.

The last day of school is Thursday, May 25th.  School will let out at 12:00.  We will be having lunch an hour early that day.  Students will be given a yearbook to gather signatures and to keep for memories.

On Tuesday, May 23rd, at 9:30 am, we will be holding our second annual Dance Festival where every grade level will perform a dance!  Parents, guardians and friends are all welcome to come and watch.  We will be holding this event out on the field by the big parking lot.  We would love to have you join us if your schedule allows.

The 5th grade students from Larsen had a wonderful day learning about military family members of others students and from veterans at the 2023 Freedom Walk.  Larsen Elementary is so grateful for all the sacrifices that our military has made so we can be free.  Thank you veterans for putting this together for our students and teaching them about our freedoms!

Our own Mrs. Weidlein, along with her her dog Pete the Pug,  came and read some stories to our first grade classes.   The students loved meeting Pete and listening to the stories they shared.  Thanks Mrs. Weidlein and Pete!
