Due to the weather, the Larsen family movie night will be moved into the lunchroom and will start at 7:00 now.  Bring your treats, blankets and pillows.

Larsen Elementary 's Reading Rodeo Challenge Winners were announced today.  We are so proud of our students and all of their minutes that they read.  The following are the winners from each grade level:

Kindergarten:  Gemma Anderson- Grand prize winner

1st Grade:  Hendrix Llewellyn

2nd grade:  Axell Rouse

3rd grade:  Jace Simmons- Grand prize winner (not pictured)

4th grade:  Charli Stickney

It was a wonderful surprise for our teachers and staff to walk into work and see all these beautiful chalk drawings.  Thank you to our Larsen families and to our PTA for showing teachers how appreciated they are!

Larsen students were so excited to have employees from our new city library come and talk about all the amazing things going on there.  They also shared about the summer reading program that they will be having.  It was fun to learn more about it and the new building.  Let's keep reading all summer long kids!

We have loved having book sponsors! Each student gets a brand new book each month to keep!

We love our walking field trip to the all abilities park! Students have worked super hard on reaching their goals and it’s a great chance to reward their hard work!

We used bright colors and learned about texture and contrast as we completed a spring art project!

Mrs. Shaw's class had created fun mazes for our robots here at the school.  Great job second graders!
