4th Grade Dino-Ramas

Submitted by teresa.beebe on
The Fourth Graders went back in time last week and created some dino-ramas. They started by creating their dinosaurs' environments using construction paper and shoeboxes. They made volcanoes, trees, tar pits, and even nests. It was so fun being creative with construction paper! Next, they used salt dough to create all different dinosaurs from triceratops to stegosaurus. These were added to their environments and voila!

5th Grade Study Native American Tribes

Submitted by teresa.beebe on

Larsen 5th Graders have spent the first two weeks of school learning about Native American tribes across our country.  Some of the tribes that they have been studying about are Lakota, Blackfoot, Aztec, Chinook, Navajo, Sioux, Piaute, Mandon, Pueblo and Maya tribes.  Each student made a diarama about a certain tribe. On the four frames of the diarama they were to show things such as homes, celebrations, ceremonies, habitats, hunting practices and arts and crafts. Great job 5th Grade.
