Living Planet Aquarium Visits 4th Grade

Submitted by teresa.beebe on

The Living Planet Aquarium came to 4th grade and talked about animals and their habitats.  There were 2 snakes and a salamander that students got to meet.  Some even were brave enough to touch them.  It was fun also because one of  presenters was our own Mrs. Head's daughter.  Thank you Living Planet Aquarium for helping us learn new things!

Chalk the Walk Teacher Appreciation

Our amazing PTA set up an activity for families to come to the school and write messages to the teachers and staff here at Larsen on the sidewalks.  Students were having so much fun drawing pictures and talking all about their teachers.  It was heartwarming to see how much our kids love school and the people here at Larsen.  Thank you for showing everyone so much appreciation!

Mr. Sansom Visits 4th Grade

Mr. Sansom spent the afternoon in Mrs. Wilson’s class yesterday teaching the fourth graders about tableaux vivant, or a living, frozen picture. We created our own tableaux featuring a scene from Wonder. It was incredibly cool to think deeply about the characters in this scene, and what their thoughts and feelings were in that moment. Thanks, Mr. Sansom, for doing this drama activity with us! We loved it!

Today is Principal Appreciation Day and we wanted to make sure that we recognize our amazing principal, Mrs. Clark!  She works tirelessly and is an advocate for every student everyday.  Mrs. Clark makes sure that each one is getting the education, skills and opportunities they need to be successful in their schooling.

The staff at Larsen Elementary are so grateful for her as well.  Mrs. Clark always has a smile on her face and is so positive.   She goes above and beyond to make all of us feel valued and appreciated.
