4-H Dance Class at Larsen Elementary
4-H Dance Class sparkled this year at Larsen Elementary. The class was composed of 1st & 2nd grade dancers who practiced for weeks and performed a Jazz routine to "A Day in the Sun" for the 4H Showcase.

Larsen Kindergarten Businesses
Kindergarteners at Larsen Elementary had an opportunity
to learn how to serve customers, fill orders, make
breakfast items or ice cream delights and give change in
their classroom businesses. Mrs. Hyer’s Kindergarten
class had a Breakfast Business this year, serving apple
and orange juice and waffles with syrup, jam or whip

Afterschool 4-H students from Larsen Elementary made "Snack Sacks" for Community Action Services. Sacks were decorated and filled with snacks and toys for children whose families receive assistance from the food bank.

Kindergarten Egg Drop at Larsen Elementary
Cracked? The kindergarten classes at Larsen Elementary School tried everything they could think of to keep Humpty Dumpty from cracking. Students hard boiled an egg and then thought of ways to keep it safe from their custodian Mr. Mecham as he threw them off the top of the school building.

Mrs. Greene awarded Crystal Apple Award at Larsen Elementary
Becky Greene has been nominated by her peers at Larsen Elementary to receive the coveted Crystal Apple award. When the name, Becky Greene comes to mind, we immediately think of treats. Whenever there is a faculty meeting, PLC’s or other training, you will see Becky bringing her stash of treats to share, making us all smile.
"Know Greater Heroes"
UVU’s "Know Greater Heroes" program thrilled and motivated Larsen students on Thursday, March 3rd. The UVU Cheerleaders and Athletics department visit schools to encourage making good choices, staying away from drugs and living an active lifestyle. Their program includes singing, music, dancing and skits. Thanks for the awesome assembly!
