We have made our goal of reading 1,200,000 minutes school-wide.

We want to congratulate these students for receiving the local Kiwanis Club's "Terrific Kids Award".  They are Adelaide Clark, Rileigh Nelson, Lincoln Albright, Santiago Cardenas,  Charlie Stickney and Noah Hall (not pictured).   Larsen Elementary thinks they are terrific too!

We are excited for these students for winning our Rodeo Reading Challenge.  Larsen students read a total of  155,571 minutes in the month of April!  Keep up all the great reading over the summer.  Thank you Spanish Fork City !

Larsen 5th graders participated in the Freedom Festivals Hope of American program on Wednesday night.  Hope of America is a patriotic program that is filled with song, dance as well as honoring veterans and first responders.  5th grades from all over the county can participate. They did an outstanding job and we are proud of their hard work and patriotism!

Even though the weather was freezing and wet that day, Larsen 5th graders were able to participate in the Freedom Walk.  The Freedom Walk is put on by our local American Legion.  Students were able to research a family member or other person that had served/serving in our armed forces.  Then our local veterans talked to them about their stories of war and about honoring our flag.  We appreciate all those that have served our country and thank them for preserving our freedoms!

These Larsen students showed great Integrity  and Optimism in the months of March and April.  Great job kids!

Students from Larsen 3rd - 5th grades held their track meets recently.  They all did a great job and were so happy to have great weather for them.  Larsen has some amazing athletes!
