Kindness Week for Larsen Elementary will be held February 14th-18th.  We have so many fun things planned for each day.  Here are the daily themes:

Monday: Wear pink and read in celebration of Valentines Day.

Tuesday:  Sign our Kindness Pledge and receive a button.

Wednesday:  All day long do little acts of kindness for your classmates and friends.

Thursday:  Look for someone who needs cheering up.  Do something to show you care.

Second grade is 100 days smarter! They had fun celebrating the 100th day of school with several activities.

Just a reminder that Larsen Family Skate Night is tonight at Classic Skating in Orem.  We hope to see you all there!

Our Spring Picture Day will be held on February 22nd.  Information packets will be sent home with students soon.  Please call the office with any questions.

Just a reminder that there will be no school held on Monday, February 21st for the Presidents Day holiday.  

Larsen Elementary recently held White Ribbon Week.  This week was dedicated to teaching students about internet safety.  Our PTA hid clues around the school for students to find and read information about how to stay safe while online.  They also provided mustaches for each student detective.  

Today our 5th grade classes showed their science fair projects to the school and parents.  Students went through a lot of hard work and challenging experiments to prove their scientific theories.  Great job to all who participated and good luck to those moving onto the district level.

Second graders learned the importance of brushing their teeth twice a day, flossing at least once a day, and making sure to visit the dentist twice a year.  They had a dentist office come and do a puppet show to show how fun it is to take care of our teeth.
