Dr Seuss We Love You

Submitted by teresa.beebe on

March 2nd is Dr. Seuss Day and Larsen Elementary wanted to celebrate all of the amazing stories that he wrote for kids to enjoy.  Each class had different activities during the day, a class photo booth with Dr. Seuss props and also special prizes awarded from the office.  We ended the day with a fun assembly where the staff acted out "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish".  The students laughed the whole time and some performances were definitely Oscar worthy.   A special thanks to Mrs. Greene for all her hard work and planning.  Happy Dr.

1st Grade Celebrates 120 Days of School

120 days of first grade has really aged our students and teachers! The kids dressed up as if they were 120 days older. Mrs. Taylor, Mrs. Headman, Mrs. Gray, Mrs. Bates and Mrs. Wilson even joined in on the fun and came looking a little senior-like.  Classes then celebrated by writing to 120, played math games and many other fun activities.  Everyone hopes they look at cute as these kids do when they get older.  120 years looks pretty fun!
