Christmas Crafts With the Christmas Crew
Mrs. Thomas and the Christmas Crew had a great time going into each class individually and helping make a holiday craft. They made reindeers, candy canes, christmas trees, snowflakes, snowmen and wreaths. The Christmas Crew also shared some of their favorite Christmas books. A fun time was had by all! Happy Holidays everyone.
December Reading Rewards Assembly
Larsen held it's first "Elf and Reindeer Games" for our December reading reward assembly. Mr. Lawter was designated by Santa himself to help with the games. The games included cookie decorating, Santas boots, candy cane race, reindeer sing-a-long, hot cocoa race and toy building. Thank you 3rd grade teachers for putting it all together! Merry Christmas everyone.
Polar Express Comes to Mrs. Enriquez's Class
Mrs. Enriquez and her ESL students get to celebrate with the Polar Express this holiday season in their classroom. We appreciate all the exciting things that our teachers do to help bring the Christmas spirit into our school and make it fun for the kids. We hope all of our Larsen families have a wonderful holiday.
5th Grade Attends Christmas Around the World
Fifth Grade had another awesome adventure as they took a virtual tour across the globe, while experiencing the magic of dance at BYU's production of Christmas Around the World. They sat in awe as huge bamboo poles were struck against the ground, women were thrown in the air by men, and many danced on their knees showing quick hands. Many students even met a bunch of the dancers, who talked with them and did tricks for them before the show! They had a wonderful time, and a few hope to join them on that large stage in the Marriott Center someday.
Larsen Choir Christmas Concert
Larsen Choir had a wonderful Christmas program to help celebrate the holidays. This years concert was full of singing but also had some amazing dancing from choir members too. Our choir consists of students from 5th and 6th grades. Mrs. Wilson puts so much time and effort into making it great and helping students love music. Thanks for all that came and supported them. Happy Holidays to everyone!
