Larsen Elementary honored those who have served our country in the Armed Forces on Veterans Day. The American Legion came to our school and shared a message about the brave men and women who fought for the freedoms we enjoy. Mr. Scoubes and Mr. Cole, who are both teachers at Larsen, have both served in the military. Thank you Veterans for your service and sacrifice so that we can enjoy a free country. We love the USA!
Shannon Babb, of Utah County 4-H presented a weather station to Larsen Elementary principal Cami Thomas, and the Larsen 4-H ambassadors. The weather station is sponsored by Utah County 4-H and the Central Utah Water Conservancy District. Larsen students had such an exciting Halloween at school. FIrst they got to walk into Monster University and then had a parade of costumes for their parents. Then each class held their Halloween parties in their classrooms. Thank you so much to the PTA and parent helpers that came and made it all a huge success.
Monsters have invaded our school! The faculty and staff dressed up as monsters and invited the kids to come into Monster University. We can't wait to see all the spooky costumes that are at our school today. Happy Halloween everyone! The costume parade starts at 12:40.
